Dans un village reculé de l'Eifel allemand, où se trouvent également la Friedrichs Foundation et la Stiftung zur Förderung zeitgenössischer Kunst in Weidingen (Fondation pour la promotion de l'art contemporain à Weidingen) fondée par Max Hetzler et Samia Saouma, Dirk et Anja Axt ont réalisé depuis de nombreuses années le programme de la YOUNG ART RESIDENCY à Weidingen.

Les rencontres qui ont eu lieu dans ce contexte, ainsi que l'énergie favorisée par sa proximité avec le Luxembourg et la Belgique, nous ont convaincus de donner à Dirk et Anja l'opportunité de présenter une proposition issue de ces résidences.

In a remote village in the German Eifel region, home to the Friedrichs Foundation and the Stiftung zur Förderung zeitgenössischer Kunst in Weidingen (Foundation for the Promotion of Contemporary Art in Weidingen) founded by Max Hetzler and Samia Saouma, Dirk and Anja Axt have been running the YOUNG ART RESIDENCY programme in Weidingen for many years.

The encounters that have taken place in this context, as well as the energy fostered by its proximity to Luxembourg and Belgium, have convinced us to give Dirk and Anja the opportunity to present a proposal resulting from these residencies.
